This book “The Advent of Mahdi-e-MaoudAS in the Light of Ahadith” methodically treated the subject with scholarly grace. First of all, the author of the book, Afzal-ul-Ulema, Hazrat Syed Najmuddin(RH) talked about utmost importance of the advent of Mehdi as proved by Quran and recurrent sayings of Prophet MuhammadPBUH. He derived home the point about the essentiality of the indispensable nature of the Promised Mehdi and belief in him. The faith of a Muslim will not be complete unless and until he believes in him as the Seal of Sainthood like the Seal of Prophet-hood for Prophet MuhammadPBUH.
